I have a great love of recycling as well has reducing plastic drastically we really need to take ownership of where and what we are doing with furniture.
Many of us have been bought up in a throw away world, but now we need to rewind to how it used to be. Re-use and recycle.
The furniture that you see in my shop are filled with many memories for people as they were growing up. Some say midcentury furniture shouldn’t be painted and I agree to an extent. There is still some beautiful original pieces out there but there are also some that really do need a little life pout back into them. What I love to do it to create a wow factor piece that can take pride of place in anyones home and also gives them the warm happy feelings of growing up surrounded by furniture that is timeless and extremely well made.
